Each year, WBZ hosts a breakfast event for prominent business leaders and political leaders of the Boston community. Senator Edward Kennedy was the guest of honor and speaker in 2008. The Senator discussed the economy, education, Presidential politics, and chose a one-on-one interview format with retired veteran BZ news reporter Gary LaPierre. Gary questioned Senator Kennedy for 40 minutes, with the final 20 minutes turned over to questions from the 700+ audience. The Senator and LaPierre are well aquainted by virtue of LaPierre's 45 year Boston reporting career. Below are some candid shots which were taken at the event.
